Hi, I’m Abby.

I Believe People Make Sense.

And I believe you.

I know, as a survivor of childhood trauma, a mental health provider and researcher, and now a trauma coach that there is no other life any of us can live, but our own.  And those lives are only known, fully, by us - the individuals living them.  Who else could be the expert on your life, but you?  When I came to understand that people made sense, and that trauma was a teacher that generated wisdom and strength in survivors, it changed my life, and the lives of those I work with.

Survivors are not broken.  Survivors are powerful.

The truth is the truth.

And you are the truth.  For many of us who have experienced harm that the world did not recognize, move towards, or validate, it is impossible to believe our experience is real.  With me, and in our community, my goal is to provide the space to be with the truth, whatever that is.  I do not help people “discover” the truth.  I support people in believing themselves, their bodies, and the wisdom they carry. You are not alone.  We will stand with you.

Online coaching for survivors of childhood sexual trauma

As a coach, not a therapist, my role is to provide a safe, grounded framework for individuals to be with what they have lived through.  Through education, normalization, concrete tools, and individual and community support, my coaching program is meant to bring individuals from isolation and silence, to community, and into their own power.  All coaching is done online.
